Groundbreaking
August 10, 2019 – Home Telecom, one of the oldest telecommunications businesses in the state of South Carolina, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Nexton location. Nexton is the award-winning master-planned community located in the Summerville, SC section of Berkeley County. Once completed, the Home Telecom facility will boast gigabit internet capability and co-working space. The 20,000 square-foot office and retail center will be in walking distance to a variety of restaurants, retail services and new residential developments.
Caoimhe Zett was the mistress of ceremony. The invocation was given by Home Telecom Vice Chairman Robert Helmly Sr. The featured speakers for the ceremony were Brent Gibadlo, Vice President and General Manager of Nexton; William Helmly, President & CEO of Home Telecom; and Johnny Cribb, Berkeley County Supervisor & Council Chairman. Chamber - Tri-County Therapy Celebrates Grand Opening in Summerville
SUMMERVILLE, S.C., July 20, 2019 – The Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of Tri-County Therapy, a pediatric therapy company that provides speech, occupational, physical, feeding and aquatic therapy services throughout the state. The new Ladson location is one of five total locations for the company, including offices in Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, Anderson, and Greer.
